With the introduction of the Blue Bird VISION, Blue Bird Corporation has raised the grade in school bus safety. By engineering and constructing a new purpose-built chassis that incorporates a more angled hood design, Blue Bird has improved the driver sight lines in front of the bus - offering the greatest loading and unloading zone field of vision available in its class. The Blue Bird VISION is also the only bus in its category built on a chassis specifically designed for a conventional school bus. This ensures quality, reliability, passenger ride comfort and of course, safety.

Range of Sight

When it comes to safety, seeing is believing

he Vision increases the drivers range of sight in front of the bus by up to 20 (compared to competitor buses).


Safety View Vision Panel

This outstanding safety feature is a Blue Bird exclusive. Safety View is a laminated glass panel with a wide-angled Fresnel lens positioned at the lower right front loading and unloading zone. It dramatically increases the drivers direct view in this critical safety area.

Don't sweat the tight spots

The Blue Bird Vision maneuvers remarkably well for such a large bus. The advanced front axle design allows for superior handling and steering thats unmatched in the industry. In fact, the Blue Bird Vision is the only conventional school bus that can boast a 50-degree wheel cut. (The industry standard is 45.)
